SOHO 77 (2009)
SOHO 77 is a small piece involving dance and music performed at the University of Surrey in 30th January 2009.
We have used one of my musical pieces, titled 3 RIVERS as a starting point to create a kind of jazzy NY late seventies scene. This kind if collaborative work with the choreographer, dancer and musicians is quite interesting because we had to change the initial product in order to fit the music and dance together. This meant we had to create improvisation sections and cue points between music and dance.
